Venice Residential — urban research, Venice

Housing on a Venice canal edge that can take aqua alta and still be a piece of city.

Venice Residential and Urban — canal-side housing with timber structural frames and brick infill, viewed along the water
Canal-side dwellings: timber frames, brick infill, the water as the street.

The canal is the public edge. Houses are paired around courts so each dwelling has a private outside, and the shared garden is the civic piece. Timber frame, brick infill — construction that can sit in water and still look like Venice, not a resort block.

Venice Residential and Urban — paired dwelling plans arranged around private courtyards and a shared garden
Paired houses around private courts and a shared garden.
Venice Residential and Urban — environmental section showing rainwater and greywater recycling, solar shading and construction raised above the aqua alta
Environmental section — raised above aqua alta, rain and greywater held in the building.

The section is the argument: pile, raise, shade, recycle. Urban research, not a London householder appointment.
