An art centre has to work from the pavement. The corner is glazed as a room, not a lobby. Studios sit above so the street can see work being made. That is the public contract.

The stair holds the courtyard. Plans put public room, shop, studio, gallery and terrace in sequence — you move through rooms, not a corridor of doors. A cultural building study. No area or cost is claimed.
