Landscape study. New York. Study.

New York — Between Memory and Water Is Where Species Meet

A New York wetland against the city. Where species meet: water, birds, fish, people on a walkway.

New York wetland study — wooden walkway through reeds with the city beyond
Marsh, walkway, skyline. The city is present; the wet ground is the room.

The edge is usually flood defence or leftover land. We drew it as a place that stays wet: a walkway through reeds, the marsh kept as marsh, the city left on the horizon.

Where Species Meet — diagram of water, marsh, birds, fish and people
Who meets whom — water, marsh, birds, fish, people — drawn as a single system.
Exploded landscape drawing of the New York wetland study
The ground exploded. Habitat as a construction drawing.

The diagram and the exploded ground are the design. They show the work is ecological and spatial, not a park diagram. Research — not a commissioned landscape, no area claimed.
