Aun Naeem trained at the Birmingham School of Architecture. That is not a marketing line for a fake local office — we do not have one. It is why Birmingham residential streets are familiar: Victorian terraces in Moseley, Kings Heath and Sparkhill; larger plots in Edgbaston and Harborne; inter-war suburbs; the Jewellery Quarter’s mix of listed fabric and new living.
Birmingham City Council’s householder decisions turn on the same issues as anywhere: rear depth, 45-degree lines, parking, and whether the addition still lets the original house lead. Conservation areas and listed buildings (Edgbaston, parts of the city core, canal-side fabric) add a second test. We write that into the first sketch.
We visit. Surveys, neighbour relationships and the way a Birmingham terrace meets its entry are not things you fake from Street View. Travel is in the fee we put in writing.
If a previous application was refused, send the notice. We will tell you whether the problem is design, missing information, or a scheme that should not be rebuilt.

Is FADP based in Birmingham? The studio is in London. One director trained in Birmingham. We take Birmingham projects with site visits, not a virtual address.
What work do you do in the city? House extensions, loft conversions, listed and conservation-area houses, and planning applications — including resubmissions after refusal.
How do fees work if you are travelling? A single written fixed fee covering design, the visits the job needs, and the planning pack. No surprise travel extras after you have appointed us.
